These papers are marbled by hand following the traditional method of floating water-based paints on a size made from Carragheen Moss. By this method a fine line and clarity can be achieved, which is not possible using other methods. Sheets are approximately 20" x 28.5" Except E28 which is 19" x 24". All are grain long. Some of the papers are produced on cream paper and some are exclusively made for Bookbinders Workshop on our Fourdriner 100% rag paper which is much lighter in color and weight. Because each paper is handmade and patterns can be produced at different times there will be differences in design and color from sheet to sheet.
