ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY, NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, LAWRENCE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, INCLUDES A BRIEF HISTORY OF ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH. 2004 compiled by Dwight Copper, with Kevin R. McCreary, Digital Photography. St. Joseph Catholic Church was organized by the German Catholics of the area in 1888. Also here supposedly lies Frank Jongrass, who was the first man hanged in Lawrence County on April 26, 1898, but no tombstone marks his grave.
