PVA (Poylvinyl Acetate) adhesive is white glue that dries nearly clear. It is pH neutral at 5-6. Great for use on paper, cloth, leather, boards and wood. Can be used straight or mixed with water to thin. Easy clean-up with soap and water. Fast drying. The wide mouth container makes using with a brush extremely convenient.
Methyl Cellulose is great as a mild adhesive for paper repair and restoration because it will not stain paper and is reversible with water. Mix with water per directions to obtain the desired consistency. Can also be diluted with water or mixed with pva adhesives to extend tack time. Another use is to soften old glue on book spines making removal much easier. Simply brush on a heavy layer and let sit until old glue softens. After a few minutes you can scrape off old glue with dull side of knife blade or bone folder. Also used to re-size paper. Packed by weight.
