Hardcover books can be thread-sewn or fan-fold adhesive bound. Covers are cloth, leather or paper over heavy binder board. Cotton headbands are applied to top and bottom of spine, books may be rounded and backed or square backed. Title applications include hot foil stamping or full color printed covers. Film lamination is also available.
Perfect bound books are adhesive bound. Our machine cuts, notches and sands the spine prior to glue application for a strong binding. Paper covers are available in a wide variety of colors and can be printed in full color or black-and-white. Hot foil stamping and film lamination is also an option.
Also called "wire stitched" or "stapled," these books are made from paper stitched in the center and folded. These are most often referred to as booklets.
Holes are first punched on the spine side of the book, then plastic coils or heavy double-loop wire is inserted. The pages of the book can be turned completely around and under the book.
Our talented bookbinders can restore or rebind your favorite books whether it be a favorite Bible, large 19th century family bible, rare first edition or just about any book.
